Although I've been using Google Docs a lot less since I discovered Notion, I rely on Google Docs for all my text-heavy writing like my video scripts and notes I take at work
As mentioned in the video, you should have different note templates for "different situations" you find yourself in at work.
Google Doc works great when you, yourself, the primary audience and you don't have to worry as much about share-ability. As long as it makes sense to you, you're good to go!
